KDL32W5500

See what other customers thought about the new 2009 W Series KDL-32W5500 by looking at some of the kdl32w5500 reviews:

Our Philips 28" CRT TV gave up the ghost 3 weeks ago.
Time for a Flat screen LCD TV.....where to start? We were looking for a "future proof" set and examined numerous write-ups and viewed a number.
After much research it appeared that the Panasonic and Sony sets were the recipients of the best reviews and I discovered that Sony's new Bravia 3 range was to be released a few weeks later.

So, after using a 14" portable set for the last few weeks, we received the new Sony Bravia KDL32W5500 yesterday....only 1 day from dispatch to delivery. Well done Amazon!

As proud owner for 24 hours I can safely say that the picture is absolutely fantastic in SD mode (don't have HD as yet). The Theatre mode transformed the movie we watched last night to a different level and the 80,000:1 contrast ratio certainly delivered fantastic detail.
I've subsequently watched parts of GP and football which again are absolutely brilliant with Motionflow.

There are numerous other areas that I've yet to touch on, namely Applicast, PIP/PAP, DLNA, but I get the feeling that this is a superb set. Absolutely light years ahead of our old CRT and the pick of the multitude of 32" LCD TV's we've inspected up and down the High Street.

I have NO difficulty in recommending.

Bought the Sony Bravia kdl32w5500 on Tuesday, delivered Friday. Absolutely brilliant TV, futureproofed (full HD, accepts 24p, and 1080p input through any of its 4 HDMI inputs). Will show mpgs (movies) from a USB stick, or watch other movie files when running as your laptop's 2nd monitor.

Obviously when using with a blu ray player it is absolutely fantastic. I can't say that motionflow makes a massive difference with standard definition sports, but I think that's because the picture is seriously compressed - with HD it looks fantastic (though I've only tested that with a blu ray disk and then set motionflow on - you wouldn't use it for a film as it makes the film look like it was shot with a handicam, but to test motionflow it works well!). Really nice interpolation of frames.

Highly, highly recommended. The only downside is that now I've seen how great 1080p HD looks I'm now struggling to watch my standard definition video recorder - I guess that is next on the list...

Can't recommend the kdl32w5500 enough right now.
